During my last tourney, I saw only one deck dominate and rock the scene. That deck was control. Control decks gained a lot of stuff from Invasion and Planeshift. I imagine many will be showing up at tourneys across the nation. A classic control deck looks a lot like this:

3 Teferi's Moat- Stops those pesky green and red swarm decks. This is also a great weapon against Fires.
4 Orims Chant- This card plain ROCKS! The new abeyance is twice as good as its predecessor
4 Absorb- A 3 mana counterspell for standard, a rarity within itself
3 Waterfront Bouncer- good creature control
4 Thieving Magpie- These suckers weaseled their way back into standard through 7th
4 Counterspell- umm.. Duh!
2 Dismantiling Blow- Those pesky enchantments, and a Cantrip
3 Millstone- Back in 7th
1 Mahatmoti Djinn- Back in 7th and can come in FOIL form too.
2 Prohibit- Early game counter
2 Washout- Bye-Bye
1 Serra Angel- Oucho!
3 Fact or Fiction- Best card drawing there is- at instant speed!
4 Rishadon Port- No mana for you!
2 Dustbowl- No port for you!
6 Plains
4 Adarkar Wastes
8 Islands
