Propane

Here are a few pictures of my propane burner in a typical melt. The burner is Oliver Upwind design, the furnace is a Flowerpot Furnace, and the crucible is cast iron.

Here you can see the burner outside of the furnace.



In this picture you can clearly see the hot cone in the center of the flame.



Here it is in action.





This stuff is HOT! You can see the furnace, the mold, the crucible, and the slag glowing in an unnerving otherwordly way.
