"Maybe you can help me," you begin, "I was looking for the records from the sixth clutch...?"
Looking down, Lian coughs sheepishly. "Ah, well, you see...there was a little problem. There's a leak in the roof, directly over one of the tables, that I hadn't noticed. And it was raining really hard earlier..." Then he pulls out a soggy mess of papers to show you. They're too waterlogged to actually make anything out, but you can pretty much guess what they are.
"I told Lian he ssshould have been more careful with them..." Kortrvan shakes his head commiseratingly.
Lian groans, and his head drops on the table. "I'm going to lose my job over this, I just know it."
