Sir Wilhelm
-- by Fritz Grondy

Position: Paladin

Maynard James Keenan lost his wife in the birth of their son Wilhelm James Keenan. Stricken with grief, Maynard dedicated himself to the god Kheroneous and became a missionary, wandering the world and combatting evil.

While taveling through the far-eastern realm of Legopon, 4 year old Wilhelm witnessed his father being brutally slain at the hands of a band of orcs. Wilhelm, however, was rescued by an order of fighting monks. He would spend the next eight years in their care at their mountaintop monastery; where he learned to speak, write, and read Legoponese, poetry, the virtues of honesty, swimming, mastery of the Naginata, and a curious form of grappling called lego-jitsu.

Shortly after Wilhelm's twelfth birthday, Sir Johan Urlstrom, a paladin of the Order of Kheroneous' Fist, happened into the monastery. It was decided that young Wilhelm would become the paladin's squire. Under Sir Johan's direction, Wilhelm learned to read and write his native language, as well as other traditional knightly skills as horseback riding and use of the long sword.

On his eighteenth birthday, young Wilhelm was ordained a paladin under the Order of Kheroneous' Fist, dedicating his life to combat evil in whatever form it may take.
