Position: Leader of the Dragonlancers

Hammill Cragg is the leader of the Dragonlancers, an elite group of dragonriding knights who carry heavy lances. This group is the best of the best, knights who started like all others and worked up through the ranks. These people also have to get along well with their mounts. Hammill and his mount, Firestar, are a perfect example of this. Every other lancers have to shout out commands or use a physical signal to tell their dragon what to do. Hammill and Firestar have been together for 25 years, when Hammill, just a young man, found Firestar with a tattered wing in the forest, near death. Hammill worked with Firestar, nursing him back to health, and since, the two have been inseperable. They connect on a telepathic level. One even feels the others' pain, physically.
