Prince Andrene |
-- by Leah Cardaci |
![]() As the eldest son of Rhonauld and Morgan, Andrene was naturally expected to inherit the throne. He seemed to be the perfect future king, an enthusiastic student and cool headed and clever. Rhonauld focused on teaching Andrene all that he needed to become a proper king. Unlike his siblings, Andrene took to his instructions without complaint. What his father never considered was that Andrene never rebelled against his education because he wanted to learn these things. He loved acquiring more and more knowledge, and was totally focused on gaining as much information as he could. The fact that his eventual position required him to learn a great deal merely meant he could have more time to devote to studies. On his eighteenth birthday, Andrene announced that he was abdicating, and leaving Octavium to become a Sage. Andrene's parents were extremely upset with his decision, but could not convince him to reconsider. Andrene entered his training as a Sage with a determination that resulted in quick advancement. He worked closely with the Grand Sage, Sennet, after his time as a novice was over. After four years of being a Sage, Andrene suddenly left the group and returned home. Andrene never explained why he left the Sages, but there are rumors of a disagreement with Sennet. According to Octavium law Andrene could not regain the throne, so Lewllyn was still glumly stuck as the heir. Instead, Andrene works leading the Royal Guard.
