Princess Leandra |
-- by Leah Cardaci |
![]() Leandra loves all the many formal events that take place at court. She is happiest with socializing with the lords and ladies while dressed in her finest clothes. All of Leandra's family members have dismissed her tastes as shallow and silly. They have little respect for her, and usually act as if she were a spoiled child. While Leandra is fairly spoiled and does have little idea of what life outside the capital is like, her family underestimates her. Leandra is intelligent, if uninterested in learning anything outside of her likes. In this way, Leandra is little different than her other family members, but as the youngest her views are not valued. In truth the supposed trivial events that Leandra is so fond of are just as liked by the nobles and do much to keep harmony in the court. By taking the role of hostess, Leandra has smoothed the nobles irritation at the absence of Queen Morgan. Leandra is a charming hostess, and has become a great favorite of the people at court. The fairs and balls she plans are always the highlight of court events. It is uncertain whether Leandra's interests will expand as she becomes older. For now, however she is content with her sociable life. Morgan has never really comprehended her daughter's tastes. Leandra is an opposite to her mother in many ways. However, they have become closer after Morgan finally agreed to give her daughter a foal with the stipulation that Leandra would have to learn to care for it herself. They are working together on something they both enjoy for the first time.
