Position: Member of the Guardians of the Crown

Alix never cared for the life that most Drakyn devote themselves to. She has little interest in dragons, and small respect for Drakyn tradition. Alix's parents were never traditionalists, so her opinions did not upset them. Alix has a clever mind and is a deft swordswoman.

Her talent made Alix a perfect member of the Ebony Kyth, the group that handles the Drakyns' secret business, and she was chosen by Kere at an early age. Alix enjoyed the challenges her membership provided. Her usual task was to protect the group of Drakyn that Katrina took to buy Auren and Octavium goods.

As Belinda's mother Selena was a famous dragon rider and Belinda herself has great potential, the Drakyn are very interested in her protection. Kere was not satisfied with allowing Mac to completely handle Belinda's protection, and decided to take matters in his own hands. He asked Alix to join the Guardians posing as an Aurener.

Alix was readily accepted into the Guardians, and has served more than adequately. Belinda immediately figured out Alix's origins, but chose not to reveal them. Alix has become fairly well aquainted with the other protectors, but keeps her distance so as not to threaten her cover. She has taken the opportunity to meet some of her Aurener relatives, and has found their way of life more enjoyable than her old one. When she is released from her service as a Guardian, Alix will most likely stay in Auren.
