Oliver Confirms Quit Reports
Castlegate number 1 Darren Oliver has stunned fans as he has quit CFC for various different reasons. Earlier today he told us ''I would like to thank all 3 and a half of my fans for their support but ive had enough of football on sundays. Ive been injured alot lately and i want to take a week or two off before i decide what i want to do. The idea of playing in a new weekday league appeals to me but my days of CFC on sundays are now over. We hav not managed to field a full strength team in 1 game this season including the Glasugate cup and its just getting to me now. I wish the boys all the luck in the world and I would hope they would be up for entering a league through the week. At the moment im looking forward to a week or two off as my foot has taken a bad knock and unlike my shoulder I would like to give this injury time to heal. Thank you please''
