Disclaimer: Castlevania belongs to Konami not me. I am making £0.00 out of this fic, it is written purely because I have a burning need to create. Although I would like to own Alucard . . . then he’d be mine.

Warning: this fic contains really Light YAOI (GuyXGuy), blood play and vampires (is this a necessary warning for a Castlevania fic?). However although the first few chapters are very easy going the later chapters include, Heavy Yaoi, Violence and discussing of sensitive subjects.

Express warning: This chapter contains Violence and Light Yaoi.

Rating: NC-17

Authoress note: I have changed aspects. I am aware Alucard’s eyes are a soft grey-ish colour, I was however inspired to change this as I have been before in my other fics.

Chapter Eight

Jason turns his head and finds himself face to face with the creature from the castle.

The Hunter looks at him for a split second long enough for Adrian to smile and the man to realise he is going to die. The man turns and runs, fleeing for his life with a speed that comes only from pure terror. Adrian waits a moment before throwing himself into a run, bolting after the fleeing human. Long legs and slender form almost cutting through the woodland like a razor through raw flesh.

From the castle Vladimir watches, a twisted smile on his face.

The wind is cold and sharp scraping past his skin as he almost fly’s after the human, feeling light as if he isn’t even touching the ground. Moments after he started he has drawn level with the fleeing human, Adrian shuts his eyes taking in the smell and sound of the panic and terror that throb out of the man who is to terrified to notice Adrian has already caught up with him.

Orlox suddenly barrels into him from the other side, knocking him flying straight into Adrian’s grip. The human tangles with Adrian making him trip, both Dunpeal and human collapse to the floor, human panting, out of breath and terrified.

Adrian smiled, holding the hunter still beneath him and watched the hunter twist and whimper trying in vain to escape, the thrashing caused his shoulder length brown hair to become matted and covered in wet moss and mud. He purred lightly feeling the raw life beneath him. The hunter keeps thrashing, arching up trying to throw the dunpeal off causing Adrian to come into contact with the hunter’s bony chest, a life time of poor eating making this hunter little more than bones. Sharp hips dig at the blonde’s abdomen.

Adrian smiles and leans forward, burying his nose at the soft place under the hunters jaw where the pulse beat, taking a deep breath through his nose, he smells the hunters fear and panic, the soapy clean smell of the hunters skin. He could smell the forest around them the musky scent of the monsters that preferred to pass their time out side in the forest rather than the castle, the damp smell of the earth fresh from passing rain that still dripped off the wet trees. The dank fishy brown smell of the river on the other side of the copse.

Orlox pads over and kneels next to them, silent and waiting. Adrian looks up at him and smiles widely displaying elongated fangs.

The hunter manages to get his arms free and beats at Adrian’s back, his red knuckles graze his cheek but it doesn’t matter. Adrian cradled the hunter close and kissed the skin just above the pulse, he felt a hand gently touch his hair, running long delicate fingers down his head and neck, following blonde strands down his back, it caused him to shiver and look up.

Orlox was leaning over the two, big childish eyes blinking slowly. Adrian stared for a moment at him, forever trapped in the body of a nineteen year old and still holding something of his innocence in his features but not his eyes, his eyes told a different tale, one of persecution, beatings and fire.

Adrian nipped at the hunter’s throat, drawing a little blood causing the hunter to whimper and suddenly go limp, giving up already. Large human hands that were gripping the back of his coat and pulling at his hair loosened there grip as Adrian found the tender spot beneath his jaw and dipped fangs into flesh. The unrefined yolky taste burst forth and calmed down to a rich cream that told of malnutrition and hopelessness.

Adrian purred as he felt it warm him, settling his stomach, causing him to relax perfectly as he continued to idly suck at the wounds he had inflicted. He felt one of the hunters arm’s move and then something else was pulling the blood from the hunter, red eyes slip sideways to see Orlox drawing from the hunter’s wrist.

Adrian would have shrugged had he been able. He didn’t mind, he had eaten that night already and easily pulled back letting the dark haired vampire take his place.

It was over quickly and Orlox smiled languidly as he drew away from the human. Adrian glanced over his shoulder at the castle, before turning back and almost colliding with Orlox who had moved suddenly much closer. Orlox smiled and closed his mouth over Adrian’s sharing the last mouthful with him in a voracious and greedy kiss.

That evening Orlox walked the halls anxiously, thinking. How could he have done that, he had kissed the masters son.

He’d sat there and watched as Adrian tormented the hunter, dragging out his death and he’d felt himself shudder, wishing it was Adrian tormenting him in a similar fashion or him tormenting Adrian. Every little sound the hunter made Orlox had imagined Adrian making them for him and it had made him half wild. He groaned to himself, he’d sworn loyalty to the master, lusting after his son was not the best way to display loyalty.

But it wasn’t as if he’d not tried, when he’d first noticed that feeling in the pit of his stomach when ever he glanced at Adrian; he’d gone straight into the nearest village, attempting to take his frustration out through his more violent nature.

That however hadn’t worked. Then he’d started taking whores, even a few late night trysts with the succubus down in the caverns, but even when he was thrusting into her, kissing her passionately, his mind was actually on Adrian, what the pail dunpeal would look like in this position, what sounds he would make. All the dark haired vampires’ desire was for him. He had considered asking the succubus to take Adrian’s form but decided against it, it wouldn’t be the same and if Vladimir found out . . .

He kicked at the edge of the carpet in frustration before storming into his rooms and making his way to his chamber. Many times, he’d lain there and imagined Adrian wandering in here, accidentally walking in on him, staring at him, his eyes slowly bleeding into a red hue before confessing that he shared the vampire’s feelings.

It was one of many imaginary occasions he’d dreamt up, many more contained images of claws sinking into Adrian’s moonlit skin, bringing forth crimson, hearing cries of agony laced with pleasure. He shuddered as he closed the door to his chamber, those ones were his favourite. Yet deep down he knew the chances of Adrian feeling the same way were minute and the chances of him wanting to be torn apart were even smaller.

But again he couldn’t help himself, when ever he took someone, he wanted to make them bleed, he wanted it to hurt them, to cause them pain, hear them cry out, begging him for more. He wanted to feel his claws slip inside drawing blood easily, to taste blood in a kiss.

And yet he knew he would never deliberately hurt Adrian if he said no, he disliked thoughts of rape of being fought, being begged to stop. He would never want the pain to be real and unwanted. He shook his head in confusion, his childhood had messed him up far too much.

He often wondered if you would be able to taste the humanity in Adrian. Sometimes you could catch him doing something or sometimes it was the things he said, they were undeniably human. Yet other times you’d see him standing in the moonlight or slipping from the shadows or the way the moonlight would reflect of his eyes and you’d swear he was a full blood.

Sitting down Orlox put his head in his hands, he wanted him and he couldn’t help it. He’d tried so hard not to feel this but it was no use he it had gotten to the point where he couldn’t even look at Adrian without mentally undressing him. He closed his eyes trying to get rid of the thought of Adrian beneath him, his moonlit skin raw and bleeding.

Adrian was also thinking. Laying in bed his head resting on his arms, the taste of the hunter’s blood and Orlox resting in his mouth.

Orlox had practically leapt at him earlier that night, forcing there mouths together just like Artemis had done, but unlike Artemis Orlox had an undisguised power and lust that the timid Artemis had lacked. Adrian shuddered, remembering, Orlox had pushed the blood of the human into his mouth which he had swallowed contentedly.

He had pushed him backwards not breaking the contact until Adrian’s back had touched one of the trees, Orlox had made a small sound akin to a purr and had pulled Adrian down till he was sitting at the base of the tree.

Orlox had pulled away momentarily and looked at Adrian, a small smile gracing his jaws, his eyes had changed rapidly from dark blue to a vibrant red and he had dived at Adrian once again, working his way into the dunpeal’s lap.

Lips had found his throat and he had yelled. Mind numbing sensation had rocketed through him when Orlox touched that flesh, but quickly Orlox had worked his was back to his mouth, leaving him quivering from the sensation.

Adrian had whined when he felt teeth graze his bottom lip hard enough to draw a little blood and had wrapped his arms around the vampire holding them harshly together, before loosening his grip until his hands alone rested on Orlox’s hips as the full vampire slowly deepened the kiss and began to undulate against him.

Then as if waking from a daze Orlox had pulled away sharply and retreated towards the castle without so much as a word.

Adrian sighed, a little from the remembrance of the kiss and a little from the fact Orlox had just run off.

Since his return home, he had slept with a woman. Before Samuel’s death the two would walk together through some of the villages surrounding the castle. It was not hard to tell women were drawn to him, either by his face or the darkness that subconsciously emanated from him, enticing those around him. Needless to say he had enjoyed the experiences, but it hadn’t felt the way it had with Orlox.

He gone with these girls because he felt he ought to, it was what was expected. There had been little in the way of passion on his part, the girls had been a bit of a let down. He didn’t even know there names so how could there be any emotion between them, plus the girls had seemed to just lay down and expect him to do everything.

But the sensation’s Orlox had brought forth were different from what he had felt when with those girls and different to what Artemis had stirred. Orlox had strength and passion; he had taken charge and taken what he wanted without any words prior. He remembered when Orlox had him half pinned to a tree, sitting in his lap and then he had started to move. Adrian shuddered; that movement alone had made heat pool low down in his gut and sent shivers up his spine causing him to make small noises into Orlox’s mouth. Orlox was aggressive where others were passive. Adrian decided he quiet liked the aggressiveness.

His fingertips ran across his throat shuddering remembering where Orlox has kissed him and the raw numbing sensation that had sped through him like fire, he remembered how Artemis had reacted when he’d drawn blood from his throat but that was different, Adrian had bitten Artemis, the poisons of the vampires bite had dulled Artemis’ senses and given him ecstasy. Orlox had not bitten him, yet still Adrian couldn’t help but react as if he had.

Adrian sat in the library, leafing through a book he’d forgotten the title of. He was board, half considering going on a hunt despite the fact he wasn’t hungry. He missed Samuel; his friend had always had some sort of idea even if they were either stupid or just as boring as doing nothing. They had always managed to make each other smile.

Adrian smirked remembering how they had just been able to do nothing together and how comfortable it had been, he doubted he could find that with anyone else here. He’d tried to find his father this morning and had succeeded but his father had been locked in a debate with Death over something random, Adrian had soon grown weary. Those two reminded him of how he and Samuel were, able to talk of anything even something totally random or something completely personal.

A sharp noise sounded behind him and he turned ready to cast flames at one of those mindless tomes, but he was mistaken, the disturbance was not caused by a tome, Orlox stood looking at him before turning around and making to leave.

“Wait” Adrian snapped but Orlox kept walking “wait you stupid . . .” Adrian muttered chasing after him

He grabbed the dark haired vampire’s wrist and stopped him. Orlox looked down.

“What the Hell’s the matter with you” Adrian snapped as the dark haired vampire still refused to look at him.

“I am sorry Adrian” Orlox whispered

“Why, for what” Adrian asked confused

Orlox looked at him and swallowed heavily, his eyes glazed over a little and he shook his head trying to clear them.

“I swore an oath of loyalty to your father, what I did last night to you could break that oath. I came here to apologize to you”

“Why did you run from me then” Adrian asked Orlox looked at him confused for a moment then laughed

“You really have no idea” Orlox smirked a little of his old humor working back into him

“An idea of what” Adrian snapped, he hated being this confused

“How beautiful you are moonbeam” Orlox blushed and looked down then back up “how you make me ache just being in the same room as you”

Adrian looked at Orlox his surprise showing clearly on his face, he thought what happened yesterday was just the remnants of the bloodlust, but here was Orlox admitting he felt lust for him, that his very presence made the vampire ache. His expression must have been worried as Orlox dropped his head again.

“I am sorry” Orlox said again

“I still don’t know what you’re apologizing for” Adrian shook his head still confused

“For forcing myself on you” Orlox blushed a little and looked away, Adrian smiled understanding, he thought for a moment before replying

“I liked that” he whispered, his voice taking a husky note as he leaned in closer to the vampire and inhaled deeply, Orlox smelt like rainfall in summer

“W . . . what?” Orlox managed in a choked voice as Adrian nuzzled at his throat

“Lets do it again” Adrian whispered a smile evident in his voice, he kissed the vampire’s throat lightly making him shudder

“Don’t have to tell me twice” Orlox snapped pulling away and grabbing Adrian’s wrist and half dragging him towards his quarters.
