Meeting was called to order by Chapter IV President, Janet Hutchison at 10:30 a.m.

REPORTS:
Treasurer: Sue Highland- beginning balance $7,745.76. Income $3,004.15 with expenses of $2,495.69, ending with a balance of $8,245.22.
MEMBERSHIP: Priscilla Achucarro
As of July 1, 2003, LAUSD will no longer accept CASTO Payroll deductions. You will start paying your yearly dues in full if you would like to continue being a member for the next year. If you received an invoice from CASTO stating you owe money and you pay the amount stated, you will be current for this year. LAUSD will continue your payroll deduction until June 2003. If you have any questions, you can contact Priscilla at the LAUSD Safety Center, (323) 342-1390.
NEW BUSINESS:
Frank Klepach, State Roadeo Chairperson, is asking $50.00 from all Chapters to help out for the roadeo lunches for the judges.
Clarence Hutchison motioned to donate $1,000.00 for the Roadeo funds. Anthony Banks 2nd the motion.
Ontario Conference: Janet Hutchison received an email from Dano Rybar stating they are down 80% on the registration. Everyone is encouraged to attend the conference and especially show at the trade show.
Clarence Hutchison motioned to send the President and the Treasurer to the Conference and pay for their full package. For the rest of the officers, CASTO Chapter IV will pay for two nights and Saturday night dinner. Sue Highland 2nd the motion. It was passed.
Janet Hutchison stated at the April Conference, the State will be giving away "President Rings" for the past State Presidents. We have had two past State Presidents for Chapter IV. We have been asked to pay for their rings. Each ring is $450.00 a total of $900.00. Mr Hutchison motioned to buy the rings for the past Presidents. Vote was taken, 9 voted yes, 5 voted no. CASTO Chapter IV will pay for 2 rings for the past State Presidents.
Art Cruz motioned for CASTO Chapter IV to pay up to $150.00 for each CASTO Chapter IV Roadeo Member that qualifies to compete at the state level. The member will be reimbursed only if they turn in their receipts. Must be a member as of today. Mr. Hutchison 2nd the motion. It was passed.
John Cain motioned for CASTO Chapter IV reimburse the LAUSD Roadeo Team for the ping pong table that was broken during the CASTO Chapter IV Roadeo on March 1, 2003. This was a Chapter IV function, not a LAUSD Roadeo. The Ping Pong table cost $114.00. CASTO Chapter IV will pay half to the Roadeo Team reimbursement. Art Cruz 2nd the motion. It was passed.
Janet Hutchison motioned to disqualify any Roadeo Competitor whose child is found unattended at the Roadeo. This includes any child 18-years or younger. Hutchison 2nd the motion. It was passed.

Mr. Hutchison and Mr. Banks, the nominating committe, are accepting nominations for the next year. If you would like to nominate someone or nominate yourself, you can contact them.

Voting will take place on May 21,2003 at our next Chapter IV meeting at Sizzler, Downey. You must be present to vote and be a CASTO member.
