Your Daily Fishtank Fix
In Fond Memory of Conan, Pinecone, Zarathustra, and Sweetie Pea
The recent passing of my last hermit crab, Conan, had left his terrarium merely an empty shell of its former self - that is, until I decided to pop some fish in.  Now it's a veritable haven for marine wildlife of all shapes and sizes, as long as those shapes and sizes resemble goldfish, snails, and aquarium gravel.

The New Aquarium
A series of fuzzy webcam pictures of many fish, indeed
These fish all come from a tiny pond in my backyard.  They're the offspring of a few feeder fish and some regular brown pond fish (with some interbreeding!), all of which I set loose a few years ago.

Three of the seven fish in these pictures are no longer in the tank - I was having problems with water chemical levels at the outset and the three biggest fish looked so sick, I had to get them out.  They're swimming wild and free in the much larger pond down the street.

More recent pictures and info on the plants, fishies and rapidly growing snailies will come in the next update.
