I was grown in an environment where religion was
a predominate factor. However I never understood how some
religious leaders can reconcile their believing with
happenings they support.
Don't like to question how some decision where made
in my religion, but at times can't avoid or block what
uninvited appear in my mind, and how it was possible to
elevate to saint-wood some people with a past of war, and
possible in some cases disregard for life.
In the name of religion wars had been fought, innocents
had been slaughter and the winners acclaimed as heroes without
questioning the reason that motivates the leaders for their
decisions. In history we read about some of this events with
the believe that it was possible in old times when the human
race was under developed, and we pray that the some don't
happen again. Our prayers are not strong enough to be answered
and the same decisions continuo to be made, thousands killed
with no mercy while the leaders that motivate those wars, can
speak with joy and smiling about the numbers as if it was just
a few dollars in supper millionaire's pockets.
In my lifetime many wars had been fought millions of
people killed, winners (so called leaders) and many times
elevated by themselves as people of God, celebrate with joy.
Not having any remorse. Loosing wars, loosing so many of their
people for nothing, and never question if they could archive the
same end, without killing so many thousands innocents. They forgot
that the dead ones had been born from mothers and fathers, have
brothers, sisters and children's, just looking for revenge and
never praying for the soul of whom killed their relatives.
They tell us of their morals, but steal have joy on what
they do.
This is the value of life in our present society.
