When Biblo left to journey again he left the One Ring to Frodo. So Frodo along with Samwise Merry and Pippin Traveled to the Prancing Pony Inn where they were supposed to meet with Gandalf but he was not there and they met Strider a ranger. They then went to Rivendell and became the Fellowship and now it is all in Frodo's hands to destroy the evil ring.
