Well, what can I say, I didn't pack a thing yet.... Amazing, what interesting distractions one can find, when unattractive jobs loom at the horizon.... Honest, I will sign off any minute and after I fixed that essential cappucino with Irish Coffee flavour, I will pack loads, really! No, really, I will, honest!

Last night went into Alex to sign the contract for my new flat, will move on the weekend! Unfortunately that means I will have to start packing up my things. I hate packing! Can't wait to get it over with! At least it will be easy this time, just open the suitcases and throw everything in that belongs to me. Not this mind-grinding, gut-wrenching decision process, which pants, how many pairs of shoes, how many panties in white, how many in black, nooo, I can't take 5 pairs of shoes for a week, oh, I just take that extra sweater, it will go nicely with those 3 more t-shirts that I'm taking, argh, let's sit on the damned thing, with a little determination we will get it shut, or should I perhaps take out those extra 2 pairs of pants again???? I hate packing!!!!

Friday, my day off! Spent last night in our usual spot, "Paradise", had my usual pizza and my usual bottle of Egyptian beer, "Sakkara". The belly-dancers were out in force, but I managed to shake a leg to some more modern stuff as well. Enough chit-chat, have to go and hang up my laundry....

Another day in Egypt, counted 6 dead dogs on the way to work - our record so far. Saw a dead donkey on the drive back, be we outruled all other animals, wouldn't be much of a challenge, if we counted all the cats, sheep and other dead things as well.... |
