Queen Mary's Home

Well, the Mighty Royal Castle of Stirling Towers are Queen Mary's childhood home. Her coronation took place in the Chapel Royal in 1543, and she narrowly escaped death by fire in 1561.
Mary's son, the future James VI, was also baptised here.

Looking Around Scotland

Standing on the castle, you can see the most important battlefileds in Scotland history, such as William Wallace's victory over the English in 1297 (that's the movie The Brave Heart describes) and Bannockburn where Robert the Bruce defeated the same foe in 1314.
