| Cat and Paul set off from the Parkinson steps at about 3pm, the first lift was quickly and easily obtained (mainly as it was prearranged that Cat's boyfriend Andy would pick them up on his lunchbreak), and they soon arrived at the first service station. By contrast, Jen didn't know what to expect, as her train pulled into Nottingham station, she eagerly scoured the platform for a hitch T-shirt and the first sign of the boy who was to be her hitch partner for the duration. |
