If the person in front of you at a KA gig is waaaaay taller, do something! Like Chocolat! Blame him if that person kicks you back twice as hard....

The crowd features less Manics fans than expected but this doesn't stop them from detecting the glittery blue eyeshadow worn by the singer of Easyworld, the first band of the night.

The lyrical punky style of this three piece from Eastborne was very impressive, even though I was standing 2mm away from the speakers. Intelligence. Their debut single is played on Lamacq, they have a song called 'U Make Me Wanna Drink Bleach' and they rock. Another reason to love them? OK. Frontman Dav Ford = gorgeous.

Following band Crackout were a big disappointment; all sub-Nirvana riffs, feedback and fake falling-over. Their equipment broke half way through... unfortunately, some idiot fixed it.

As I was losing the will to live, King Adora strode onstage - their set including the singles 'The Law', 'Bionic', 'Big Isn't Beautiful' and 'Suffocate' all sounding great live (fortunate considering the singer, Maxi, has all the aesthetic appeal of a glam rock creature from the Black Lagoon). Album song 'Whether' hints at a good future if they can restrain themselves from ripping off any band within the past yen years (hello Manics, Pumpkins...) and from putting out remixed singles which are a great deal more sh*t* than the original.

Despite the 32 minute set (apparently a hangover from their Manics fixation) and lack of encore I wish their album was out right now (under a different title...). And Easyworld's single. With pictures.
