" It's the fifth time this week." Takuya remarks heavily as he walked the doctor out to his car.
" He is not showing any improvements for the past few months." Dr Saga agrees calmly.
" His attacks are getting more violent." Takuya paused and turned to face the doctor squarely as he delivers his anxieties. After a moment of hesitation the doctor turned too to face the worried young man.
" There is nothing I can do further to help."
" What?!"
" I am sorry. For the past two years I did all I could within my knowledge to help your brother."
" No! You can't just leave my brother in a lurch. He needs your help!" Takuya insists.
" I really am on my wit's end." Dr Saga informs. " He doesn't trust me enough to let me into his world. I cannot do anything from the outside."
Takuya sighed as he felt helplessness overcomes him. He knows that the doctor is telling the truth and he knows that there is really nothing the eminent doctor can do further for Goro. " I understand. Thank you doctor."
" Perhaps you should find him a doctor whom he can trust to open up his world." The doctor suggests. " Bring him away from this place, the place where it all started. And maybe he will let his guard down."
" I will consider. Thank you, doctor." Takuya said as his parting words as the doctor climbed into his car and drove away.
After watching the car leave the garden grounds, Takuya turned and ambled back to the house again deep in thoughts. His head hung low from dejection and he dragged his feet involuntarily as he walks through the front door again and closes the heavy door behind him. He is seriously considering Dr Saga's suggestions when the silence in the house is once again broken by loud screams. As he broke into a run up the stairs, the hair at the back of his neck stood up at attention.
" No! Go away! Go~" Goro pants heavily as he shrieks tearfully and fought against invisible monsters with wild flailing arms and legs.
It is at this very moment that Takuya decides to bring his brother away, as far away as possible.

" Do you want a drink of water?" Takuya asks gently while the pretty air stewardess waited patiently. She is observing the other passenger who is staring out of the small window, obviously ignoring his companion. " Please give us two glasses of plain water." Takuya requested with a sad smile.
" Yes sir." She replies and hurries off.
Takuya turns his attention to his brother sitting next to him and sigh inwardly. All he can see is the back of his head as Goro kept his gaze steadily out of the window. He cannot understand why Goro had grown hostile towards him after he learnt that they are leaving for a long vacation.
" Goro?" Takuya attempts to break the ice, using the softest most patient voice he can conjure up. " Is something bothering you?"
The air stewardess came back with two glasses of water and left immediately but Goro still refuses to turn away from the window. The plane started to take off and soon they were airborne. Takuya waited hopefully but he still refuses to turn around. It will be nearly two hours later before he realizes that his younger brother had fallen asleep in the same position. Takuya frowned lightly as he studies how fitful Goro is while asleep. In a bid to comfort him, he took his hand in his grasp and to his own consolation; Goro is gripping his hand tightly. At the moment he can feel at last that he needed him still.
" Did you notice those two strange men?" An air stewardess whispers to another.
" You mean those two sitting in 20A and B?"
" Yes. Do you think they are brothers?"
" I doubt it."
" They are holding hands now!"
" The one in 20A looks very hostile."
" Probably gays having a lovers' quarrel." |
