" Cultural Difference ~ from my point of view"

As he taps the glass pane, the lights came on in my mind too!

Cultural differences cannot be more acute at this present moment as someone shouts at him to stop doing that.

I am not proud of my lack of understanding for other cultures out there in the whole wide world but I certainly wasn't aware that through no special effort on my part, somewhere buried within my musty brain cells, a certain degree of sensitvity had been quietly breeding itself.

Some will probably argue that we don't need to understand anything to get along with everyone. How wrong can that be?

With sensitivity comes understanding and that will lead to tolerance. Especially in this age of technology, it isn't hard to make friends of all races spread out throughout on this tiny planet. Frustrations follow when things are not done or said the way one is brought up to believe. Then what?

Just like the Japanese would point using their middle finger when other races would consider that the rudest gesture you can use to start a brawl.

Perhaps it is time to try and understand why he tapped on the glass pane when the wooden door is standing just next to it waiting to be knocked on.
