The Basset Hound is a great companion for all ages. Bassets just love to be with their family whether you are working in the garden, walking in the park, travelling, or just relaxing watching T.V. they just want to be there with YOU.
Bassets are a very affectionate, loveable character,with a big heart.
They have been unfairly labelled as wanderers, however you must understand, they are a scent hound, so if they are not on lead and get a scent, they are off!
If you understand the breed you will have a loyal loving friend for life.
