www.altavista.com AltaVista is a search engine that allows users to search in a variety of languages.
www.dogpile.com Dogpile is a meta-search engine.  Instead of searching only their database, Dogpile searches several other search engines' databases for your topic.
www.google.com Google is probably the most comprehensive search engine available, searching over 3 billion web pages.  Google allows users to search the entire web, or just for images, groups and directories.
