Here I have created a custom circuit board. It is made from millitary grade PCB material with 2oz copper clad (very thick).  I used an 8 amp full bridge rectifier, and moved the caps to the top. The heat sync is designed for computer chips, and is affixed with a special heat conductive glue.  This will dissipate a lot of heat (modern computer technology is great, isn't it?).

The bottom is much cleaner also... fewer wires. The traces are not real pretty becuse this heavy clad is hard to etch. It is in the tank so long that the etch solution begins to attack the mask along the edges. But Wow... it's like laying 20 ga. wire accorss the board !!!  It will handle a huge current load.
