| Day 1: 3rd May 2006 Assemble at Chatrapati Shivaji International Airport at 8.30 am to take the Egypt Air Flight MS 969 The Flight departs at 12.10 noon. Reach Cairo at 2.10 pm [Local Time] Parents may visit this site everyday for news and information on the tour. You can even send a message using the Guest book at the bottom of this page Day 2: 4th May 2006 - CAIRO We have reached Cairo Safely and all is well. In the evening we have taken the Sleeping train to Aswan from Giza station. Day 3: 5th May 2006 - Aswan We reached Aswan at 8.45 am and boarded our busses for seeing the Aswan High Dam. It was a wonderfull sight to see this magneficent structure. After the visit to the High Dam we boarded the small ferry boats to take us to the Philae temple. We reached the temple which is dedicated to the God ISIS and the guides told us the history of the temple. We then boarded our resplendent 5 star ship and had a sumptous lunch. Day 4: 6th May 2006: Sorry for the late update. We could not get an internet connection yesterday. We started our day early in the morning by visiting the Kom Ombo temple after which our ship sailed to Edfu where we went to the Edfu temple in Horse carraiges. Yes it was real hot in the afternoon at Edfu but very enjoyable. Our ship then sailed again and crossed the ESNA LOCK. It was a terrific sight to see the gates opening and the level of our ship rising and then again going down the other side Day 5: 7th May 2006 We have reached Luxor today early i the morning and started out for the Valley of the kings and then saw the Queen Haschepsut temple after which we have retired to our ship for Lunch Day 6: 8th May 2006 In the early morning we left for Hurghada by convoy. We crossed the Great Sahara Desert to reach the town of Hurghada in our Mercedes Coaches. We have reached Hurghada safely and are enjoying this fantastic resort here on the red sea. All are safe and enjoying Day 7: 9th May 2006 We left our resort at 4 pm and drove straight to the Cairo airport to take our flight to Mumbai Day 8: 10th May 2006 We have reached Mumbai safely.
