Appearance: Tasald is built light and slender, though not thin. Her skin is a light, nut brown color from frequent tanning, changing smoothly into dark creamy-colored fur where her human half meets her deer body. Her underbelly fur and tail tip are a paler cream than the rest of her fur. She has narrow, two-toned eyes; one eye is bright blue, while the other is a mossy green. Her hair is dark auburn-red, falling to her shoulders and styled in many tiny braids that fall around her head.
Personality: Outgoing and very talkactive, she likes to be the center of attention and has lots of friends and hangers-on in her village. She can be very kind and sweet when she wants to be, but she also has a short, explosive temper and gets jealous easily. She can be a bit of a brat when she doesn't get her way. She's clever and sly, and can usually get her way.
Past: Tasald comes from a race of deer-taurs called cervidans. Her village is located deep in a forest and not many humans go through it, so it is pretty secluded. Her father died when she was young, just a year after her younger brother was born, and she lives alone with her mother and brother. She was recently given a hawk, a common pet for cervidans, for a birthday present, and she named the male red-shouldered hawk Kaznn. Just a few months after receiving Kaznn, she ran into a pair of offworld dragonriders on the edge of the forest, and they offered her a chance to stand for a dragon. At first a bit apprehensive, the dragons soon grew on her, and eventually, Tasald accepted their offer. On their way back to their homeworld, a place called Darkling Dawn, they dropped her off at Draco's Inferno Weyr, where a pair of dragons' clutches were getting ready to hatch soon...
