First to download the latest version http://www.anim8or.com
You can now create your own 3D model.
First start :

You enter in a Front View. You create a 3D object so you will be able to see it from different angle.
The horizontal line is the X axis, and the vertical is the Y axis. To begin we will take a predefined
object, called primitives. You have seven to choose from. Click on the Cube. Put your cursor in the
center of the axis and by holding the mouse left button and moving to the up left,
a cube will appear. Make it rectangular. (Look at the bottom status bar to see the functions
of the buttons.) Now you see something like that :

Go to the top menu at View\All.

The yellow line mean that your object is selected. If you click outside the cube, he is unselected.
By clicking on it, it is selected again. An object have to be selected to work with it.
The views are selectable to, a white line appear around the selected view. It is the view you
choose to work in. You can move, rotate or scale the cube with the appropriate button.
(Look the button property in the status bar)
Now you can put a texture to the cube. Get it here. (RightClick "Save Picture As...")
Click on the button "Material" (four black spheres).
DblClick on New. You will put the texture at Ambient, Diffuse and Emissive.
The button in front of each show "-". Click on it. Then click on "Load Texture", you can use
the texture I gave you "BRIQ2.JPG". Select "BRIQ2.JPG" in the window. Do the same for Diffuse
and Emissive. The "-" is replace by a "T". Now we will give our texture a deepness look.
Click on the button "Textures", in front of "Brillance". Go get the texture with the button in front
of "BumpMap". Now you can close the Material Editor. Click on "Apply" and you will see
the texture applied to your cube. Put it in Perspective View (at View/Perspective).
To go to the camera of the view, click the button with an eye. You can move, rotate
or scale the view, with the appropriate button.

You know a bit more about 3D now, but there is many other things you can do with that software.
At the Anim8or site there is a User Manual to download in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese
and a lot of other resources .
