Penie you were the pride of the whole family when you came into our life's. You were so small, but also a handful. (Ha Ha) Penie as the years went by we were not able to see each other as much, but my love for you never changed. The last few months we were able to become closer together and I will always be grateful for that time. Penie I miss you and Love you. To My Dear Son, I miss you so much. I love you so much. I remember when you were born that night I thought that you were the most beautiful baby that I have ever seen. I remember your 1st day of school you cried as we walked to school and you wanted to go back home wit me. I went back after school to pick you up and you really enjoyed school and I realized at that very moment that you were growing up. I know that you had a hard time growing up but it made you the wonderful man that you had become. When Norman passe away we cried together and we were there for each other. We got through it together. I very thankful that you had given me Lydia and Adraine. You always came to check on me everyday and I looked forward to that everyday and you always gave me a hug an a kiss goodbye and told me that you loved me and I would send you on your way and tell you to be careful. I was so happy when you moved in with me. When you got sick we took care of each other. Penie- you were a loving, caring, father and son and I w ll miss you something terrible. I know that you are in a better place and you are not suffering anymore. You are with Norman, Grandma and Grandpa Hodge. I could not understand why god took my two sons from me, but aleast you have each other now and I w ll join when the lord comes for me. Not a day goes by that I don't think of you and Norman. I've been blessed with good partners since I've been at NMMC. Glenn was certainly no exception. He was always forgiving and understanding, no matter what mood I was in, no matter what I might say. He forgave me for breaking his nose with a wrench, allowin me to forgive myself. He even made light of it later, laughing about it in order to ease my mind. We both laughed about that time for months to come. We discussed a lot of things in Medic 1 on those long runs to Jackson, Memphis, and Birmingham. I hated o have to leave him when I went to day shift but he understood why. It was just after that move that he became sick. I didn't really realize how sick he was till months later. Glenn, I'm thankfull that you're at peace and without suffering, now. I'm thank ull for all the times that we were there for each other and sorry for the times we weren't. One day we'll talk about it......Luv Ya Man.

Where do I begin. Even though we were divorced we were still best of friends. For a few months we bickered over the divorce stuff but then we made our peace. I loved Glenn with all my heart and soul although we couldnt live together we always had that pecial bond. Our love brought forth 2 beautiful daughters that are so much like their father, once in my life I would have Lord have mercy on us all but I gladly say Thank you Lord. They love their Dad with all their heart and soul. Daily we go over a n w memory, we all shared so many. I made a promise to Glenn a few weeks ago that I would never let his girls forget him and I would tell them daily how much he loved and this is one promise I fully intend to vow. Glenn you touched our hearts in so many w ys. I feel like I know you better than anyone. We shared so much good and bad. Whether or not anyone else understands you know how special our love was and still is. It will live on forever in our children and grandchildren. We will never forget you. I am so glad you are finally at peace and painfree at last. Thank you Jo for this opportunity for us all to honor Glenn. I will always remember the courage that Glen showed even when inside he was scared and tired. What a legacy he leaves his family. He was always glad to see anyone that stopped by even when he was in so much pain. He stated over and over how great it was t see how many people really cared about him. I admire Glen for his courage and unfailing optimism even after he knew his time was soon to end. I also admire those who put so much time and effort into making his last days the best they could be. I really miss Glenn....he was the only EMT, I knew that washed the top of the ambulance. He remained friends with his partner even tho he broke his nose with a wrench and laughed about it. He was alway accident prone, such the night with the so-called e gle on the Trace....he stop to help it but ended up getting clawed by it....I think it was just eating road kill....Glenn, I miss you and hope to see you someday soon in a place where there is no pain and no sorrow.
