US Treasury Bonds are still in a 25-year bull market. They seem to reach a peak every 5-7 years and experience sharp selloffs. As long as this channel holds then it is hard to be negative on bonds for more than 6-12 months time. As of this moment I am negative on bonds as I think the yield curve needs to widen in the second half of 2005. The open interest in the 10-year US Treasury Notes is reaching astronomical heights these days. |
