Heart Earring Holder ©2004 by Ambar E. Alcalá

Materials:
1 plastic canvas heart or any other shape you might have or choose to
make
Some yards of Luster Sheen (Ocean is the one I used)
Size 7 steel hook
thin tapestry needle
Round 1 - Working on the border of heart, join yarn with a single
crochet and work single crochets all around the heart, taking care to
work 3 sc in the bottom corner.
Leaving a long end for wrapping, cut off and thread needle. Wrap
the bottom part of the hole (where it hangs) with the leftover
yarn. Weave in and cut off.
You could also add a 2nd round, making shells and sc alternately, but I
prefer to keep it simple. This is great for a girls or teens
earrings on her b-board or hanging close to her mirror. Also, it
could be done with two rounds of school colors.
In 1982 I gave, not only my heart, but my life, my eternal life, in
God's keeping. I trusted in His Son for payment of my
sins. Now, I'm saved and am His daughter. Life is
great!
