God shines the stars at Christmas,
That is why they are extra
bright!
He dips the moon in silver,
To sparkle in the night.
He bathes the world in beauty,
It is such a lovely place.
As if he had combed its tangled
hair,
And washed its weary face.
The hearts of men are lightened,
As the carols fill the air.
There is peace and understanding,
Abiding every where.
But when the season is over,
Will God wipe away a tear?
Because he will be forgotten,
Until Christmas time next
year!
