Cherry Blossom Festival 2002 Macon, GA celebrated the 20th annual Cherry Blossom Festival this year from March 16-24. This year was special because Tina, Danny and their furbabies along with Karen and John joined us to attend the Mulberry St Arts and Craft Show. The past few years, we attended with Reno, Paxton and Pebbles. After carrying Reno the first year, we got smart and took a baby stroller for the furbabies. This year Reno, Paxton and Baxter attended in their new double tandem baby stroller. Tina and Danny brought their furbabies Holden, Chopin, Danny the lhasa and their foster baby Lady. Tina had a darling red wagon for her babies to use and they were smart enough to realize how nice it was to ride in comfort versus walking on the black asphalt. Karen and John brought Pandy, Baby and Justy to Macon but decided the crowds of adoring fans might be too much for their furbabies. The weather was beautiful; warm and sunny. It was so much fun to watch people's faces when they saw the furbabies in the wagon and stroller and then of course they had to stop and tell us how beautiful the furbabies were and even tell us about their Shih tzu, Lhasa or Pom furbabies. I have always enjoyed watching people's faces light up when they talk about their furbabies and so many of these people remembered seeing us last year and were really excited to see us again this year. Many people took photos of the babies and I heard alot of people commenting on how much they wish they had brought their cameras.
