Chapter Seven

The Dance

“You know what Li, forget it, I don’t think you’re interested in my little magic experience.” “Of course.” Sakura walked away on Li and Madison could see that Sakura’s upset. “Sakura, what’s wrong? I thought you’re going to ask Li about Clow Cards.” “You know what Madison, forget it, Li is a total dork and he won’t do anything I say.” “Don’t say that Sakura, Li’s a good boy and I like him as a friend a lot.” “Well, I guess I’m going to the dance alone.” “Sakura, were you going to ask him to the dance also?” “Kind of, he’s cute though but that’s all I think of him. If he’s nice, I guess I would ask him.”

Brian ran towards them and Sakura and Madison turned around. “Now Brian, go back to Li and tell him that he’s a dork and I will never forgive him.” “No, no, no, Sakura, you got this all wrong, I was going to ask Madison to the dance.” “Oh, I guess I should go, have a nice day!” Sakura walked away and Madison blushed a little. “Madison, would you like to go the dance with me?” “Sure, I will Brian, you’re nice after all.” “Great, I’ll pick you up at 6.” “No needed Brian, I’ll wear a nice costume and we’ll go by my Lemo.” “Sure, that would be great.” Madison ran and catching up with Sakura.

“Great, you’re going to have a date, I’m just wear my old dress and just sitting there watching you and Brian have romances.” “Sakura, you got this all wrong, I will always be there for you…” “Wait, say the last part one more time.” “I will always be there for you.” “That’s so familiar, someone said that to me earlier but I couldn’t remember who.” “Anyways, I have this great costume for you, want it or not?” “What is looks like?” “I’m not telling you, it’s a surprise.” “Great.”

Another day, it’s the dance day, Madison came over and gave Sakura her costume. “Hi, Madison, come in, what you got there?” “Your costume!” “Great, let’s go upstairs and I’ll try it on.” “Okay.” “Squirt, what you got there?” “I’m going to the dance and here’s my costume.” “Sure, like anyone wanted you to be his princess.” “Please Tori!” Another conversation with Tori and finally they got upstairs.

Madison gave Sakura the costume and everything goes with it and let Sakura try it on. Sakura went to the bathroom and Madison stayed in Sakura’s room to wait for her

Sakura is impressed. She starred at the dress Madison gave her. It’s a pink dress with cherry blossom flower ribbons hang around the bottom. It looks like a wedding dress but smaller and she had this cute hair tie and this cute hat that goes with it. Then there’s a pair of cherry blossom earrings and necklace and also a pink jacket looks like the dress. There are also the shoes, it has a cherry blossom on it and when Sakura wore it she looks like the Fairy Goddess of Cherry Blossom.

“Madison! I loved it! Thank you so much!” “It’s okay Sakura, if you want, I have a lot of this kind of dresses. I thought about your wedding day and I was about to do something really cool.” “Madison, you totally rule and you’re my best friend on Earth!” “Sakura, don’t you realize? The dance is on your birthday, the year is gone.” “ Oh, time could be going so fast sometimes.”

When Sakura got downstairs, she was really surprised. “Surprise! Sakura! Tomorrow is your birthday but you’re going to the dance so today is your surprise party.” “I’m so surprised! I love you guys! Sakura hugged her dad, Tori, and Julian and Madison for all the good things they’ve done to her.

Sakura slept in peace and Yin and Yang saw all those things. Well, they created those things to make Sakura forget about Li. After the dance, Yin and Yang are going to destroy the whole world.

The next day was a dance day because April 2^nd is Spring Break so today is like a party day. Sakura wore her green skirt and green shirt to school for the party and she went home after the party to get ready for the dance at 7:00.

Sakura dressed up and put some perfume on and her brown hair was tied up and she looks like an angel and when she walked downstairs, people are impressed. Madison’s Lemo is already outside waiting for her and Brian and Li is also in the Lemo. “Hi, Sakura, Li doesn’t have a date so he’s going with us too.” “Sure, it’s fine with me.” Sakura got in the car and after 5 minutes they arrived the school.

They could hear the music in the auditorium where the dance is. “Well, here we go.” Sakura walked in the auditorium and everyone was so caught up on Sakura’s dress. It’s perfect. Sakura got a drink and sat down watching Madison.

Madison is with Brian and they are dancing in the slow music. It’s very sweet and Sakura could see that Madison is having a lot of fun. She sighed; she couldn’t believe that she’s here in a pretty costume with no one to dance with. Li came over and sat down next to her.

“Sakura today is the dance day so well, I guess I’ll be nice for a change.” “Sure, I’d like to talk to someone.” “Emm… How could I ever say this, will you dance with me Sakura?” Li said it with his eyes closed and he’s blushing. “Sure Li, I’d love to.”

Li and Sakura began dancing. Sakura’s green eyes met Li’s amber eyes and they blushed. “Sakura, I never said anything about this but you look beautiful.” “Thanks Li, you look cute too.” “Oh, I think we got along very fine.” “Yeah, perfectly fine. Do you know anything about Clow Reed?” “What? What do you want to know? How did you find out about Clow Reed?” “Nothing, it just rings a bell in my head.” “Oh really, I can’t tell you. It’s a secret.” “Come on Li! We’re friends aren’t we? Please tell me?” “You look beautiful in this dress.” “Oh thanks.”

Sakura stopped talking about it because she knew Li doesn’t want to talk about it because he changes the subject right away. “Let’s go outside, I know you want to know and I’ll tell you but this is too public.” “Okay.” Li and Sakura walked around on the playground, chatting. “I’m a descendant of Clow Reed and I have magical powers.” “Oh, that’s why. But why is it a bad thing to know?” “Because our family doesn’t want anyone to know that we’re the good against evil.” “Oh, I could understand that.” “Sakura, I need to tell you something, I loved you the first time I looked at you. That’s why I don’t want to show you that I liked you because I get nervous and things like that. “Li, I love you too.”

When Li and Sakura are about to kiss, Yin and Yang appeared. “Ha, the perfect couple, I can’t believe that Dark Magic didn’t work out on you but this time it will.” “Yeah, I agree with my brother. The power within the elements, water, fire, earth, and wind, please bring back to the time when Sakura and Madison walked off but this time make them argue with each other! Release!”

Four bright lights came; blue, red, dark, and white flew over to Sakura and erased their memories. This time, it’s worse. No matter how Yin and Yang planned to destroy Li and Sakura, it didn’t work out well because Fate brought them together and nothing could let them split, even the grumpy Meilin.

Li and Sakura fainted and everything went back when Li and Sakura were arguing. Yin and Yang know that destroy Li and Sakura is too hard so they’re going to change Magic World first and close the kingdom of Fate so then Li and Sakura could split. Sakura and Li’s love is strong and even Fate felt sorry for them. The perfect couple.
