| Welcome to my homepage! First of all, I am a Malaysian Chinese who learned to cook since 1995. Since I am living in the States now, the Malaysian hawkers' food that I enjoyed when I was young was hard to come by. So, I created this recipes site dedicated for those of us who are living far away from home but would still like to enjoy the local food. Since I have moved here (Colorado), I was lucky enough to meet up with a few Malaysians and Singaporeans few years ago. Once in a while, we will meet up and have an afternoon potluck lunch where each of us will bring a local dish/ dessert and enjoy it among ourselves. Got to say, ever since I put my website on the search engine, I have been getting e-mails from other M'sian or S'porean in CO who would love to meet up. And thus our group is getting bigger each year. Oh yeah, in case you didn't see the pictures, I had a baby in March, 2004. She is a lot of fun and loves to smile when talk to. |

| I enjoy cooking and baking. I also love to taste other cooks' dishes. Recipes exchange and comment are always fun because it's just increase your food knowledge. My husband and I go skiing every winter. This is one of the sports that I enjoy immersely. It gives me a sense of freedom when I ski down the slope. During summer, we like to go camping. I like the peace that only nature can provide. Sitting out there just listening to the sound of nature is a bliss in itself. Sometimes we go mountain biking on a bike trails. It's a good exercise for us! I also enjoy picnic in the park. Not all the time I would cook nasi lemak and go picnic, but buying a packet of KFC works well too. Who said enjoying the outdoor got to break a sweat? :-) Our favorite place to picnic is along the creek at the Cheyenne Mountain. Evy will grow up to be an outdoor girl because I can't wait to bring her mountain biking, skiing and camping. |
