| It brings tears to my eyes having to develop such a site. This is a more proper maner, than taking the Takers to Court. This can run for a life time compared to money earned in court battle. It would be tereable for anyone to put the Matsumura Family name into court or Hohan Soken Sensei's. The true legacy of Okinawan Shorin-ryu Matsumura Seito Karate-do's history could be lost; without providing proper history and facts of those around the World. Hohan Soken was worried about Matsumura Style being lost as well. Some proclaiming to be direct seito of the late Hohan Soken Sensei. Some of these individuals had so great things going for them until they pushed the TRUTH to fare. The honor of just having a certificate signed by the Late Master just wasn't enough. This site will be dedicated to telling the truth behind the individuals who falsely us Hohan Soken Sensei or the Okinawan Matsumura Shroin-ryu Karate-do, which is a WHITE CRANE SYSTEM. I was taught from the ground up the the Okinawan Shorin-ryu Matsumura Seito Karate-do as that taught by Hohan Soken Sensei. Being able to see kata done by someone you can tell who their sensei is. | It would be improper to take individual to court over their stupid words. Most of all not to bring the names of Hohan Soken or Matsumura Shorin-ryu karate into a legal battle, not very becoming. I have told individuals that I would never take these things to court, but public that is different story. We should do the Martial Arts from our Hearts not out of our pockets. | During the past three years Shihan Charles was brought into the publics eye by Tom Hunnicutt, from Arkansas. This man proclaimed he knew of a gentleman in P.R. that lived with Hohan Soken Sensei for 10 years. (REUNIFICATION a few months later seemed to be only a stepping stone for OKF's rebirth, sponsored by Glen Premru. Who at that time period never claimed 10th dan in Matsumura; yet today he does)! I had only spoke with this Tom Hunnicutt over the phone. Then he sent video of some katas he does (:>). Tom knowing the REUNIFICATION headed by Premru was a total joke, about Garcia being a live in seito of Hohan Soken Sensei. Anyone with true knowledge of Matsumura would realized that something was truly fishy with Premru's support. Yet this Tom still supports Premru, buying my Patches from him. Patches I had developed from Soken's originaI. I first spoke with Tom 5 years ago. Our first conversations were so interesting at first and could have developed a great friendship. Sorry to say, this gentleman's words or history changes; let alone changing his Yon dan certificate awarded by Kise and through Hohan Soken Sensei. It is a shame he had so much, then he had transformed his Yon dan into a Roku dan. Then proclaiming to the World in magazine articles that he helped Hohan Soken develop the Matsumura empty hand katas. Stating Hohan Soken didn't like kata. Ba Humm Bug! Well not so, Master Fise Kise a year ago at his summer camp in Colorado told me point blank what Tom Hunnicutt earned and did with the Matsumura.
