The OVA series was released in the early 90's and is well known for the fact Kakinouchi Narumi (manga-ka and character designer of Vampire Miyu, etc.) was responsible for the directing, storyboards, script, character designs and animation directing. The CD comes in a box that fits the CD (in a clear case) with a picture label, 32 page booklet with some of the storyboards and animation pictures (as well as Hoshino Kana's pictures), a poster by Kakinouchi Narumi and a special "Hoshinohara Station Newspaper" drawn by Hoshino Kana.
