"So Sad..."
"...it's not always going to be this grey..."
George Harrison
1943-2001
Everyone that comes here to my site knows that George is my favorite Beatle.  However, I don't want to have a mushy sad tribute...instead lets remember the good things about George's life.  I think that when we think of George, instead of thinking of his death, we should remember his life!
I can't even imagine their music without his guitar playing.  Not only did he add such fabulous new sounds, but he wrote even greater songs.  More than the image, he cared about the music, which gave so much to the Beatles.
George also had a really good sense of humor which is noticeable in photos and quotes.
Reporter: Have you got a leading lady for your movie?
George: We're trying to get the Queen.  She sells
George also did not like having his personal life intruded upon by reporters and fans.  Instead of wild hobbies, George enjoyed gardening.
However, the way I want to remember George is not for his fame, or his fortune, but for his love and compassion towards all human beings.  His humanitarianism and charity will always be remembered from his Concert For Bangladesh.  One lad from Liverpool had a gift....he had a real talent for guitar, a way with words, a fab sense of fashion, and a loving heart that would forever change the lives of others.
"Beware of sadness
It can hit you
It can hurt you
Make you sore and what is more
That is not what you are here for"
-"Beware of Darkness" By: George Harrison
