On 26 September 1888 at the home of the bride's father in Tillsonburg, Amenzo married Marietta Kelly, who was born 30 August 1862 in Ontario and died in 1949. Another marriage took place the same day by the same minister, Rev. D. B. Cohoe, also at the home of the "bride's father", between Charles Churchill and Miss Kate Kelly, presumably the sister of Marietta.
In 1901, "Nettie" was widowed and living in South Norwich Township with her son Edward, and three lodgers.
Both Amenzo and Marietta are buried in the Springford Cemetery.
