Note: This is a gender-neutralized version, construing the "Him" of the traditional text as "God"; for those whose poverty-stricken benightedness or other personal traits make such a version unattractive, or who construe "Him" as "Jesus", the traditional text can be retrieved by singing "Him" for "God" as well as for the participial ending "-ing" (not, however, for the ending of "morning", lest it become a dirge) ;-) - Liland
