9/11/01

On September 11th 2001 the United States was rocked by a tragedy that changed the world forever. Two planes hijacked by terrorists were used as missiles to fly into the Twin Towers in New York City, killing thousands of Americans and citizens of other countries. It was a day in history that will never be forgotten. We will always remember the scenes of horror, anguish, fear, and hope. Although May 30th 2002 marked the end of the cleaning up and recovery process at ground zero where the World Trade Center stood, we must never forget the people who lost their lives nor their families or the heroes who saved countless lives. Their bravery should isnpire us all. We must continue to pray for America and for all the people who are victims of terrorism and for those fighting against it. We know that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, is the only one that can give everyone true hope, strength, and peace.
Only He will one day wipe all tears from our eyes.

This ribbon is for the memory of those lives lost
in the shocking and tragic terrorist attacks
in America on September 11, 2001

This banner is to honour the firefighters, police,
and the rescue workers who are the true heroes of this
horrible and unbelievable tragedy.
It is also in memory
of the many firefighters who ran into the two
World Trade Center buildings when others were running out,
in order to help and rescue. Many are alive today
because of their bravery.

NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER - September 14th, 2001

September 14th declared a National Day of Prayer
and Remembrance for the Victims of the Terrorist Attacks
on September 11, 2001 by President Bush of the USA
