V for Vendetta (2005) [Bishop Lilliman]: Poisoned (off-screen) by Hugo Weaving; his body is shown afterwards while Stephen Rea and Rupert Graves investigate the scene. (In the original graphic novel, it was specified that he was killed with a cyanide-laced communion wafer; in the film, the only indication that he was poisoned is Hugo's line "Stick out your tongue.") |
