Event Help
At least one hour before the event, we will arrive at the reception hall, well groomed and in proper attire. Couples feel comfortable knowing that before they walk down the aisle, we have begun to organize our equipment, making it possible to greet your guests with dinner music and a relaxing atmosphere while awaiting your arrival.
After the bride and groom have been introduced and are in their proper places, a toast may be given by the best man. When most of your guests have finished dining, we invite everyone to turn their attention to the cutting of the wedding cake. This is usually followed by the throwing of the bridal bouquet and the removal and throwing of the bridal garter.
The dancing of the evening begins with the first dance for the bride and groom to their choice of music. Then, the bridal party may join them for the bridal dance if so desired. The next dance would be set for the bride and her father and the groom and his mother (sometimes these are separate dances, however, we have had them both dance at the same time). Now, the guests are generally invited to join everyone on the dance floor.
Of course, this is only a guideline which can be used for some ideas when planning your reception format. It is your option to include or exclude any of the previously mentioned traditions.
