| So why does this guy use an SN so closely related to the man of Steel ? Well, simple reason is he spent most of the last 15 years selling his books, his original comic art ( through 2 local artists that worked on his titles ), doing a local radio show directly because of the frenzy that ensued in the media after his death and subsequent resurrection in 1992-1993. And most of all.....and believe me, I know exactly how corny this sounds ( cause I have a recording of myself saying it on a national newscast ) " You couldn't ask for a more perfect scenario ~~ the most popular figure in pop culture for over 50 years ( over 60 now ) brought to life by a young Canadian boy & his American cousin, giving the world what it really needed most at that point in our history. A positive role model, something our current culture seems to be sorely lacking" ~Me~ April 17th, 1993. Bottom Line is : to paraphrase Garrett Morris from SNL "SUPERMAN.....BEEN BERRY, BERRY, GOOD TO ME " |
