Shahktar Makiyivka had six points deducted and were then disqualified during the 1998/99 season for not paying the licensing fee to the league in full. Opponents were awarded victory in all remaining games against them. No goals were added in the goaldifference for either team, nor Makiyivka nor the opposing team. The disqualification apparently occurred during the winter-break or some time thereafter.

Torpedo Zaporizhzhya folded after the first half of the 1999/2000 season and thus withdrew from the competition. Their opponents were given a 3-point technical win with no goals counted. Afterwards, the Football federation of Ukraine allowed the reorganized team to play in Second League (3rd level) during the 2000/2001, which they didn't do however.

Polissja Zhytomyr had three points deducted during the 2001/02-season. Polissja Zhytomyr became insolvant during the mid season winter break of the 2004/05-season and the Ukrainian Federation awarded technical victories against them in the second half of the season. Karpaty Lviv had 3 deducted points for fixed game against Spartak Sumy during the 2005/06-season. FC Bershad had a total of 9 points deducted during the 2005/06-season for non- compliance to leaguerules. The team withdrew altogether in May 2006. Spartak Sumy withdrew for financial reasons during the 2006/07-season. Their record at the time was: 19 1 0 18 4-49 3. Their records were expunged. Podillia Khmelnitski had three points deducted for failure to pay certain players and staff during the 2006/07-season. Borysfen Boryspil had six points deducted for failure to settle debts to a former player during the 2006/07-season. Failure to pay the season fee to the federation forced them to withdraw and all remaining opponents were awarded a technical victory vs. them. Volyn Lutsk had three points deducted during the 2007/08-season for various infringements. Naftovyk-Ukrnafta Ohtyrka had three points deducted during the 2008/09-season for various infringements. Knjazha Shchaslyve withdrew during the 2008/09-season. Technical victories (but no goals) were awarded to teams drawn to play Knjazha after the winter break. Komunal'nyk Luhans'k withdrew during the 2008/09-season. The federation annulled all results.
