The Fight
"Hush Delta.  Just lie still and I'm sure Emma would be happy to get off of you," the blonde haired young man said.
"You...you know my name?"
"Well why not?  You know mine," Derek said with a handsome smile.  His rich blue eyes seemed to call out to them to come get to know him.  He seemed quick to smile, which was unusual for this group.  "Now would you mind getting off my messenger?  I would much rather do this like civilized people."  Emma didn't move.  Well, she did put all her effort into being as fat as possible.  At least the demon child had stopped hitting her with her tail.
"I like your new look by the way.  Who's memories were you just viewing?"  Derek said, ignoring her like of movement.  Emma realized what he was talking about.  She seemed to change whenever she viewed someones memories.  Reaching up slowly she felt her new ears.  Long and soft she recognized them instantly.  Her hand moved to check her bushy white tail.  She was had bunny features now!
"Glad you like it.  Stay away from her," Eddie said, stepping between Derek and the three girls.
"Aww Eddie!  So good to see you again."
"Where's Sarai?  What have you done with her?"  Eddie glared at Derek, but Emma's ears poked up even higher than they already were.  Avana's knuckles were turning white as she gripped her axe.
"Oh yes!  The princess!  Here you go!"  Eddie waved a hand and Sarai appeared on the ground in front of Eddie.  She was fast asleep.
"Sarai!"  Eddie knelt down and checked her pulse.  She was definitely alive.  "What did you do to her?"
"My dear friend.  I have done nothing.  I found her like this.  I simply thought it was dangerous for the princess to be sitting all by herself!"
"Yeah right.  That's why you sent your mistress to come distract us?"
"Mistress?  Hardly.  She just calls me lover,"  Eddie said.  He leaned in close and whispered loudly, "She's dellusional."
"That's not very nice," Emma said.
"Well, it's true isn't it Delta?"
"Ooh yes!  Lover only speaks the truth!"  She seemed content being sat on now that her master was here.  "Are you going to kill them now Lover?  They were mean to me!  Especially the tall girly!"
"No.  Of course not.  It's Eddie who's been leading them astray this whole time."
"WHAT?" Eddie said almost too quickly.  Avana loosened her grip and Emma almost fell off of Delta.
"He's been lying to you.  He claims to be protecting you, but he's the one who is trying to get you all killed.  Sarai said it herself.  Eddie's always trying to get her killed."
"But the idiot said you sent the nightmares."
"Only to get you away from him.  They are hard to control though.  The dog one got out of my control.  I was very worried about you Emma."
"Bull--" Eddie muttered.
"Then what's the truth Eddie?" Emma asked.  Eddie turned to look at her.
"What?"  You're going to believe this guy?"  He looked hurt and shocked.
"Possibly.  Unless you start telling us the truth.  You've been lying this whole time," Emma accused.  Eddie was at a loss for words.
"What's the matter?  Afraid to admit the truth?  Didn't think you'd get caught?"  Derek said.
"You lie!" Eddie said.
"So do you," Derek replied, with a smile.  Before he could stop himself, Eddie had flung his fist squarely into Derek's perfect nose.  It broke and blood began to pour from it.  Derek put a hand to cover his face.
"Eddie!  No!  It's what he wants you to do!"  Avana said.  Eddie didn't hear her.  He had jumped over Sarai and jumped onto Derek.  Derek's large coat fluttered as they rolled around on the ground.  Emma was staring at them, and Avana was afraid to intervene for fear of hurting Eddie.
"Real mature boys," said a sarcastic voice.
"SARAI!  You're alive!"
"No.  Really?" Sarai said.
"And you're okay!"
"She must be.  She's as sarcastic as ever," Avana said, a faint smile threatening to betray her.
"Gee thanks.  Is that Derek and Eddie?  Who's the demon girl?"
"I am Delta!  Ooh boy!  I'm excited to meet you princess!  You're going to save us all huh?  Ooh yes!"
"Save you?  I'm going to destroy you.  And your master," Sarai said.  She stood up and removed her right glove.  The black sparks gathered quickly.
"Ooh no!  Princess!  Ooh no!  LOVER!  Princess wants to hurt you!"
The boys kept rolling around, punching, kicking, and biting like the school boys they should have been.  It was obvious neither of them had ever been in a real fight before, but it made them evenly matched.  Both were still very strong for their age.
"I suggest you listen to Delta," Sarai said.  "Five, four, three, two, one.  Okay!"
A shot of black sparks whirled through the air and landed just next to the boys heads.
"I don't have to miss next time," she said, gathering energy again.  They froze position, both looking very bloody.  Eddie's lenses were cracked in several places, but he still managed to look very attractive.  Even Avana had to look away to hid a blush.
"Yes Princess?" Eddie asked with a grin.  Blood ran from his nose into his mouth, but it was still an adorable smile.
"Get away from Eddie!"
"No Sarai!  Eddie's the liar!"  Emma shouted.  She covered her mouth and blushed.  "Sorry."
"No, Emma. Did you have something to say?" Eddie asked.  Emma was silent for a while, avoiding Sarai's eyes.
"Emma?"
"Yes?" she said, looking up to see an unfamiliar look on Sarai's face.  It wasn't a smile really, but she didn't seem curious or angry.
"I know Eddie's been lying, but I think Derek is lying too.  I need you to get the truth for me.  Can you do that?"
"WHAT?" Derek said.  A shot near his head, returned his silence.
"Avana, you better hold Delta.  She won't like what we are about to do." Sarai ordered.
"Ooh no!"
"Exactly."
