CLIVE'S BIO

Since "Sunset Beach" premiered, Robertson has garnered two award nominations from leading soap publications for Hottest Newcomer and Best Actor. He also has become a fixture as one of daytime's sexiest men in various soap opera magazines.

Classically trained as a theater actor, Robertson has successfully used his debonair good looks and British sophistication to create a commanding screen presence reminiscent of a young Timothy Dalton or Pierce Brosnan. "Soap Opera Update" describes Robertson's acting style as "Cary Grant meets James Bond."

From the age of eight until he was well into his teens, Robertson attended boarding school in Hampshire, England. At Marlborough College, he expressed his interest in athletics, competing in boxing, tennis, golf, and rugby. Marlborough prepped him for his sports enthusiasm and introduced him to his love for Ancient Roman History.

After his father's death when Robertson was 15, he accepted the advice of family and friends to pursue a traditional career. He attended the Oxford School of Business where he earned a bachelor of arts degree. After graduation, he landed a marketing position at a large blue chip company.

Soon, Robertson traveled to East Africa where he reassessed his life and the direction it was taking. Robertson decided he wanted to act and enrolled in Arts Educational, a top drama school in London.

Robertson has had leads in Wimbledon Open Air Theater's production of Shakespeare's "As You Like It," the Theater Museum's "Breaking the Code," and successful productions of "Wuthering Heights" and "The Wild Ass's Skin." His television credits include a featured role in the British soap "London Bridge," the made-for-television movie "Papararazzo" and the independent feature film "Before the Killing Starts."
