| The Clonmany Festival has been in existence now for over 36 years. It has been very successful from the outset and takes pride in catering for every member of the family with something for everyone from six to ninety- so make sure that you bring granny too. It started off in a small way with nightly sessions held in the old market house in the square-done up as an olde Irish kitchen, but over the years extra events have been added to make it a very enjoyable and memorable week for locals and visitors alike. Visitors should check out this beautiful and rugged part of the North West of Ireland for an experience never to be forgotton. There are lots of guest houses locally who will put up a party at reasonable rates and the Strand hotel is located in the nearby village of Ballyliffin approx 1.5 miles from Clonmany Whatever you enjoy you can be sure that Clonmany festival will have something to suit your familiy's needs.
