Well, I guess you've been misled. I missed the trip to the Wilsons because I broke my foot two months earlier. Da boys attending were Mike, Steve, Austin, and a spare Steve.
The trip started out on a sour note -- with much rain and mud -- and da boys had a rather bleak time in the Navajo Lake basin. The climb up Mt. Wilson was extremely hazardous in the fog and on the snowpack -- but it was successful. The subsequent trip up El Diente was cancelled in favor of hiking out and spending a few sunny days on the Navajo reservation in NM. With the return of nice weather, da boys implemented a last-minute surgical strike on Wilson Peak -- using the alternate northern approach to the basin.
