Cheap candles seem to work the best as they give off lots of soot. Keep checking your cs to see how it is progressing and stop when its reached the desired results.

| Move your glossy card-stock back and forth over the flame. Don't keep it in one place or you will burn it. This process can take a little bit of time so be patient.
