| Ben Morton is Llama's frontman. I say frontman because he performs lead vocals and writes a majority of the songs that Llama performs. He has a great voice with a pretty wide range and can change from flat out "we will rock you" type songs like "Close to the Silence" to more heart-felt ballad type songs such as "To Believe" and "Wildest Dreams" with much ease. In many retrospecs, he is the stereotypical frontman. Great with the crowd, funny, very social and usually has quite the group of people around him after the shows. The only part of him not fitting the stereotype for the average showman is the fact he steps aside and lets the other members of the band have their taste of the spotlight when they solo. He just steps to the side and lets them draw the attention to themselves. Very showman-like and worthy of a firm handshake. |
