United hit Roma with magnificent seven

by Steve Griffiths

MANCHESTER, England (AFP) - Manchester United booked their place in the Champions League semi-finals with a breathtaking display of attacking football that destroyed AS Roma 7-1 in the last eight, second leg on Tuesday. Sir Alex Ferguson's side hit three goals in just seven minutes early in the first half through Michael Carrick, Alan Smith and Wayne Rooney in a stunning opening to what must go down as one of the greatest European performances ever seen at Old Trafford.

Cristiano Ronaldo was in unstoppable form, scoring a goal either side of half-time, and Carrick and Patrice Evra were also on target after the break as Roma completely capitulated in the face of the sustained United onslaught, going out 8-3 on aggregate. United had trailed 2-1 from the first leg a week ago and much had been made of their five past failures to overturn a first leg deficit in the Champions League.

That defeat in Rome had been followed by another loss against Portsmouth on Saturday, prompting suggestions that United were losing their nerve with the finish line in sight. But the Premiership leaders gave the perfect response with their biggest win of the season and will face either AC

Milan or Bayern Munich in their first Champions League semi-final since 2002. The treble remains a distinct possibility for Ferguson's team if they continue to produce performances of this quality. With so much at stake there was never any danger of the atmosphere being anything less than red hot, but pre-match skirmishes outside the stadium as police tried to keep rival fans apart raised the temperature even higher.

Although Roma only needed a draw to go through they weren't content to sit on their lead and Francesco Totti fired just wide after six minutes. But the Italians' attacking intent was naive as it gave United spaces to exploit and Carrick took advantage in the 12th minute. He collected Ronaldo's pass and strode forward, and with Roma's defenders backing off, had time to look up and drive in a shot that wrong-footed Doni as it looped into the top corner.

That goal sparked wild celebrations around Old Trafford but it was nothing compared to the roar that greeted their second just five minutes later. Ryan Giggs's astute pass picked out Smith and the United striker kept his nerve to delicatley lift a shot over Doni for his first goal since November 2005.

On the same day of the launching of Windows Vista in Jakarta, early morning of April 11, 2007, at around 4 a.m. there was the live event of European Champions League soccer match between Manchester United against AS Roma from Old Trafford stadium, Manchester. I was not watching the live coverage on that early morning. Later on at around eight o’clock in the morning I read the news ticker at CNN that United rampant 7 - 1 on AS Roma.

For me it became like another message related to my consent to move out to the eternity. The word for 7 in Indonesian is "tujuh", which spells close to the word "tujuan" which means "destination" or "target".

Like I mentioned in my previous letter, when I was approaching a girl living next door on the house number 11 in 1982, I still had no target of having consent to move out to the eternity. So now when Windows Vista was launched on April 11, 2007, it became a reminder for me that whenever I approach a girl it should be based on my consent to move out to the eternity.

And the first goal was made at minute 11 and several seconds, or as usual in the news it was rounded up to minute 12. That first goal was by Michael Carrick, whose last name like containing the name of Paris Hilton father’s Rick. Like commensurate with my approaching Paris Hilton with the target of having the consent to move to the eternity.

Michael Phelps broke five new world records and won seven gold medals during World Aquatics Championship in Melbourne, Australia, April 1, 2007. It was after I began my painting on March 19, 2007, whereas Paris Hilton is on the down part of the painting, like Australia which is known as the down under country.

Moreover, Michael Phelps’ name has the initial of "MP", like reminding me of "Emma Paris". Whereas when my uncle died, his wife my aunt Emma still alive. In other words, my relationship with Paris Hilton should never cause any danger to Paris Hilton, she should still alive even when I died, just like my aunt Emma still live longer after her husband died. And this is not about Paris Hilton wants me or not, this is about my efforts to fulfill my consent of moving to the eternity.

Subject:  It Is A Long Distance Relationship to Move Out of This World

Considering that besides you there could be those who also read these letters, and since I have mentioned the name of Paris Hilton in the above letters, so there must be some explanations here. Otherwise there could be some accusations as if my approach to Paris Hilton was based on my feeling so handsome and so rich. While in fact all this is about my consent to move to the eternity.

It began in 2004, when I heard that Paris Hilton was the girl friend of Nick Carter from the group Back Street Boys, and her sister's name is Nicky. The first name of Nick Carter and the name of her sister Nicky is like the name of Nick Berg, a U.S. young business man who was murdered by Zarqawi in Iraq. Since I also have the consent to move out of this world, so it inspired me to get closer to Paris Hilton therefore I could be like Nick Carter whose first name is so similar to Nick Berg. I wrote about this to president Bush in my letter Browsing Paris Hilton Sites.

A few hours after writing it in my e-mails to president Bush, came the news that Paris Hilton broke up with Nick Carter. I considered it as Paris Hilton's welcoming myself to help me move out of this world like Nick Berg.

In my first letter to Paris Hilton I also explain that "........ the car accident that took the life of Lady Diana happened in a tunnel in Paris. Therefore, when you began to give your responses to my paintings, I thought that this could be my second chance to meet the end of my life after I screw up the first chance with Lady Diana. Or in other words, "a Bridge to Heaven"........."

And most important thing is, this is about my going to die, not about showing of extraordinary power or anything like that. I should underscore this, because it seems like some people have begun to try to take my position now. Like for example, when I wrote the draft of this letter, there have been disturbances of my having problem to open the Geocities homepage. If anybody with strong power want to change place with me, well I would not hindering him, who am I anyway. But later on I would be condemned if he died earlier than me. And it had happened to Lady Di, therefore I keep on worry about this matter. Besides, so far my relationship with Paris Hilton is a long distance relationship, I never met her in person.

This is not about bravery, who am I anyway, this is just my efforts to fulfill my consent to move out of this world for the good of this world.
